Ready to take your shop design to the next level? Believe it or not, creating and designing your own shop online isn’t as hard as you think (In case you missed it, check out our Step by Step guide to creating your own shop and selling online).
We’ve gathered our favorite Shopify template resources for you to get started with. So go crazy!
Our #1 choice. You can purchase a shopify theme developed by companies directly through Shopify and integrate it directly with your shop. This is the most common source amongst shop users because of how easy it is to choose, buy and customize a them design. Here are some of our favorite themes in the theme store.
If you can’t find an option you like in the shopify theme store, or you want to use a theme that isn’t as commonly used, themeforest has shopify themes you can purchase. These themes aren’t tested as rigorously as the ones that are sold through the Shopify theme store, so be sure to read reviews and look at the demo options to make sure it’s a good fit for you.
Troop Themes is the maker of one of some of our favorite Shopify themes in the Shopify theme store Blockshop and Maker, but they have another theme that is exclusive to their shop called Mosaic that we have been digging lately.
Bonus Points: Since it’s not officially in the Shopify theme store, it’s less likely you will find another shop using the same theme.
For the tech savvy, the Timber theme can be a huge timesaver and starting point for developing a custom theme for your shop or for other clients.
This theme was the base for our more custom shop design for LeVert Beauty. These themes are meant to be edited heavily. I only recommend using this theme if you want to create a custom theme and are familiar with some elements of development such as liquid, html, css and sass.
Again, another theme meant to be edited heavily and for someone who has some coding knowledge. But another great timesaver for custom theme development.
